Elopement Film Shoot

2 Cinematographers

We want to make sure we have complete coverage of your wedding, so we work in a team of two.

This allows us the ability to capture both sides getting ready, as well as multiple angles throughout your elopement.

5 Hour Shoot

We will arrive approximately 1 hour prior to your first look or ceremony to capture the final preparations.

We will split up for this portion of the day so we can capture each of you getting ready.

No two elopements are alike and while our standard seems to be 5 hours we evaluate each wedding prior to providing a quote. So please let us know any special items that you have planned so we can make sure we allocate enough time to your elopement.

Cinematic Highlight Film

A 3-5 minute film highlighting the feelings, emotions, and excitement of your wedding day.

The music will be chosen to help convey the beauty of your wedding story with a cinematic feel.

This is the perfect way to share your wedding day with all of your friends and family and relive the moments again and again.

Your Elopement

The most amazing thing about eloping is you have no guidelines to follow, traditions, and you can truly make the day about two people who fell in love and want to get married.

We absolutely love the freedom of elopeing and how a couple decides to start the next chapter of their lives together.

As you get ready

On the morning of your elopement, there is something so important to capture the final preparations as you get ready. We will plan to arrive one hour prior to the first look or the ceremony, whichever you decide to do. We work in a team of two and will separate to capture you both getting ready.

This is always a fun and exciting moment as the day begins, the excitement of the day becomes a realization and begins to set in.

This is also the time we highly recommend you read the letters you have written for each other.

The Letter

Just before you plan to leave for the first look or the ceremony (whichever is first) is the ideal time to read the letters you exchanged with each other. It is best this is done in a more private location where you can be yourself and emotional.
*We also ask that you bring a copy of the letter you wrote to your partner. We will also capture you reading the letter you wrote. The reason we do this is there is something very special hearing the words from the partner who wrote them.

Moments like this are what helps make that emotional connection in the wedding film. It is important you do your best to be real and raw in the words you write, this is something you will want to remember and re-live with each other.

The First Look

If you are on the fence about doing a first look we highly recommend it. This is a private moment where you will get to have this intimate emotional moment with each other. We highly recommend you do this without your family + friends because it allows you to be yourselves without being in front of an audience.

Depending on your elopement plans a first look may be ideal or not at all feasible. We recommend if you are planning to hike or travel a distance to your ceremony site you may want to skip the first look as it is likely you will be getting changed on-site depending on your plans and elopement attire. Like we’ve said previously, it’s your elopement, your day, and your ultimate choice.

The Ceremony

It is finally here, the day you've been waiting for and you will remember it for the rest of your life. To make sure we don't miss a word we will put a small mic on one of you, and the officiant to make sure we capture every spoken word.

We will work closely with your photographer to make sure we are in sync and each of us captures the moment without being in each other's way or to take away from the intimacy of your elopement.

If you are comfortable enough to do so, we highly recommend you write your own vows. Your marriage vows are your personal pledge to be there and grow with each other. When these are written by the person making the vow it truly makes for a very emotional and beautiful moment.

The Reception

There are so many amazing ideas to make a beautiful elopement reception for your friends and family. We have seen couples rent a house and throw an intimate and personal dinner party, a backyard party, or just time spent on an adventurous hike followed by a small dinner at a cabin in the woods. This is the time to celebrate the next chapter in your life and how you choose to celebrate is up to you.
